More and more health professionals are using electronic referral to share information and connect their clients to local services. This site provides links and an e-referral system to health and community services within different municipalities around Victoria.
More than 100 primary care, community health and acute agencies use the Connectingcare services directory to find the most up-to-date information on more than 6000 services across Victoria. The e-referral system enables client information to be sent and received using encrypted email. Connectingcare uses existing Internet-based technology to create a secure platform for referral without the cost of additional software or equipment.
Connectingcare ownership has recently been transferred to Database Consultants Australia.
